 On October 8, 2011, the Glasgow High School Red Dragon took 1st place at the William Penn HS Competition at Frawley Stadium. Competing in the Class 2A category, the Red Dragons faced off against Salesianum HS and Lindenwold HS from New Jersey. Not only being named the best band in the Class, Glasgow took home awards for Best Drum Major, Best Colorguard and Best Percussion. Total Band score: 80.15 out of 100. Next, the band will be performing at halftime on Friday, October 14 for the Glasgow HS Homecoming Football Game. After that, they will be traveling back to Appoquinimink High School for Chapter IX Championships where they will attempt to raise their score above the season high of 80.15 Last Updated (Monday, 10 October 2011 16:49) |
