The Percussion Ensemble and Steel Drum Band at Glasgow High School is a performance class set on developing percussion skills.  It is HIGHLY recommended that any student wishing to participate in the marching band drumline or pit should take this class. 

Before signing up for this class, you must see Mr. Rogalski regarding an audition to be recommended for placement into this class.  THIS IS NOT A DRUM SET CLASS and learning the drum set will NOT be a part of the curriculum.  If you only wish to play the drum set, then do not take this class.  Also, most of the class will involve reading written music, so previous musical experience while reading music is highly recommended.

Percussion Ensemble / Steel Band meets for one full block every other day throughout the school year.  Also, there are several required performances outside of the school, including
(but not limited to) concerts in December and May.
